    Use it... Love it... Have to get it everytime. Literally, cannot overstate this enough to anyone who will listen. Yes, the manufacturer's warranty is nice and everything. But generally speaking, they cover little to nothing. Also, good luck with the hassle of communicating and shipping the item with any kind of efficiency. By the time you finally get back your "warrantied" item, you've already found a replacement or bought newer tech. Now, if you are anything like me and you want customer service. Go with the Geek Squad Protection Plan. Please take 3 to 5 minutes and hear me out in this review. You walk in with your item. Some stores slap a sticker on the item as you walk in... Some just politely point you in the direction of their customer service section of the store. You wait in line for at the most 10 to 15 minutes as they push through there customers with the utmost care and efficiency. Seriously, I am a customer service stickler and they consistently hit the mark for me or impress in that department time and time again. You then proceed to bring your item to a generally very polite... very knowledgeable... BestBuy representative. They politely ask for some basic information and what went wrong with your item... Ratatattat on the keyboard... Thank you, sir or ma'am go ahead and find a replacement OR and this is the best part. OR they give you the option to choose another brand of your liking. Do you know how many times I've bought an electronic for it to just malfunction after less than 2 months or even worse 7 months and that manufacturer's warranty only covers... You guessed it ... 6 months. I swear, these manufacturers time the longevity of their product to die precisely after the warranty is over. I wouldn't advise buying the protection plan on every single product as there are some products with a decent manufacturers warranty. But, take a second and think about buying this far better protection plan that covers EVERYTHING. Not only does it cover your product, but will replace it immediately when you return it... No questions asked. All in all, to be completely honest, the GeekSquad Protection Plan on top of the outstanding customer service is why I continue to purchase my electronic products through BestBuy and will continue to do so. I applaud both companies and thank any representative that I come across while shopping there. Thanks again and keep up the good work... You've got a lifetime customer in me.

    Have bought several electronics and with its warranty backing the product up. Any issues arised in the past the geek squad always knowledgeable and ready to help. Highly recommend this remote

    My Geek Squad service has always been stellar. Quite a few of us game in my family, and with that comes buying headsets. Unfortunately, we have begun to experience repeated breakages and issues with a specific brand. Upon the latest issue, we went to visit Geek Squad. Hoping to revert to an earlier style headset that did not require a USB dongle, I was disappointed to discover that it is no longer being manufactured. Luckily, however, a very well-informed geek squadder led me through an exhaustive explanation of alternatives and answered all manner of questions big and small, every day and entirely off-the-wall. I left knowing I had purchased the best option thanks to the informative, well-humored, and exceptionally patient Geek Squad employee.

    I LOVE the replacement policy! My grandson had a game controller that went out a year after purchase. Instead of sending it back to Microsoft, I took it to Best Buy and they replaced it! I won't buy electronics without this policy. It's well worth the money

    The warranty is worth every penny. I bought a pair of ear buds for my husband and just a month after, he dropped one and when he found it, it had been run over in the parking lot. The warranty replaced them with a brand new set.

    This is a great thing to have on any device you can put it on. Love the ease and how fast they resolve any issue with a covered item. I am a gamer and have my contyrollers and headset covered, has helped save me so much money and even time as well. Amazing coverage.

    Definitely recommend geek squad in case you have any issues with your computer that you just don’t understand yourself. I’ve had plenty to where I needed help so geek squad is always there for you.

    I don't like how if I pay for yearly it will automtically remove any geek squad protection for the products I had before that and mainly only keep geeksquad protection. Had to manually get this fixed. Also the pc builders don't do the entire job you request. They miss a few wires. I would only recommend for purely renewing items.
