I prefer to buy the protection plan (the longer protection the better) because if something happens to the product it will get fixed or replaced without me having to spend the extra money on buying the same product again and if I don't use the plan oh well, it's better to have it than to not have gotten it and something happens and I'm out that money on the product.

Need to have for kid and adult items things can always go wrong but with 2 year warrenty Best Buy is always helpful with a return or replacment

Gives you a great piece of mind when using your purchased products. I added it to my xbox controller in case of stick drift.

Any time that I have had an issue (and there hasn't been to many tbh) they have come through with flying colors. My items have been promptly fixed or replaced. Will always ad the warranty to my Best Buy purchases!

I bought this for the color to switch colors . The controller feels good on the hands.

If you're buying Joycons, like I did in this instance, they promise to replace it if they begin to drift. My first pair of Joycons started to drift a little under 2 years in to owning them, so if that happens to my new ones, then this should, in theory, replace them. Who knows if the guy was lying to me or not if this situation does end up happening to me but I will take his word on this.
