Recommendation, always purchase a protection plan! I'd recommend Best Buy's plan over competirors because they cover the full price of the item. I nabbed a ps5 controller on sale and the protection plan covered the regular price cost. Its a little higher price plan for a shorter time. But others were only offering to protect the item at the price i paid.

Hope we don’t need this protection plan but it is great to know if we need it will be there for two years

I am happy I made the additioanl add on of this service when I bought an open box item. It truly made things much easier with getting my soundbar fixed.

I got the plan for my xbox series x controller and it’s been the best investment for it. I can replace the original purchase instead of buying a new one every time I have issues with zero hassel or questioning as to why I’m doing my claim. Love the service. Highly recommend it for any controller players.

Insurance for electronic equipment at Best Buy amazing

Awesome warranty! Best Buy honors it with almost no questions asked. They just need to know why you’re returning it but they aren’t going to deny your return. It has gotten more expensive over the years but it is still worth it for some items that are known to fail such as gaming headsets and controllers.

Always helpful to have... makes one that is anxious a little calm.

Always always get Geek Squad with whatever you buy from Best Buy especially if it something like a game console or something that can break easily. You can get that product replaced say if you rage quit or you accidentally drop the item you can get it replaced with little charge or even replaced for free
