Always get the warranty on products like controllers. I bought this on the PS5 controller and it will definitely save me because I play a lot and fully expect the "drift" issue to happen. Simple swap and good to go. Best Buy is very good about honoring these and rarely give you any grief. This is why I keep going to retail instead of getting electronics via online vendors, especially that rainforest one that sells the awful warranty from Square Trade.

Ive had to call them before to get help with my laptop and they were super friendly and helped me no problem! They seemed happy to help and did not seem annoyed like most people do that come to help with anything.

You definitely want to get this for all your items purchased at Best Buy. The return policy is amazing but their geek squad is awesome and I’ve never had an issue. This comes very handy and they never give you a hard time and take care of your needs.

Being able to get my controller replaced is amazing. PS5 controllers quickly get stick drift now days, this one doing so within a very short time frame. Was thankfully able to get another one with a smaller payment as opposed to having to pay full price.

The wired setup ensures there’s no lag or battery concerns, which is a big plus. The cable is long enough for comfortable use, though I wish it had a detachable option for storage.
