The protection plan covers so much and is worth every penny. In my opinion, a lot more easier in some cases just to go through Best Buy protection plan as opposed to the manufactures warranty

Love this feature can easily replace my controller with no issues and pay $50 to get the new warranty

Any time I get a pricey product or product I don’t expect to last long, I buy the 2 year accidental Geek Squad replacement. Sure it adds a little to the overall cost, but as someone who has used it many time to replace items over the years, it is completely worth it for me.

Now this is worth it, if you buy an expensive item that is likely to break and you would want to replace it. My son uses the Xbox elite controller. It has broke 3 times now. We have had 3 replacements and continue to purchase the black tie insurance.

If you are using this for PC gaming & are running Windows 7 or 8.1 - it says in the description "some functionality is not supported" - so I asked under THIS AD, unfortunately AFTER I purchased, what was not supported exactly. Here is the response: "Functionality not supported under Windows 7 include Bluetooth wireless connection and customization features supported by Xbox Accessories App." It was answered by MicrosoftOutreachTeam So PC gaming was out basically for my purpose. I decided to try on my Xbox just because I had it. So here is the review: I have the ORIGINAL (1st generation) Elite controller & by far THAT one surpasses this generation. For some reason the buttons would not stay mapped using the app feature. A couple times I had buttons swap function (based on app mapping) while playing. So I truly believe the major malfunction with this controller is the app connection. I have never had a single problem with my original Elite. Overall the controller itself - built was fine - I believe overpriced for sure. I actually wanted to buy a 2nd one of the original for back up because I use this specifically due to a permanent wrist injury. Pulling the normal triggers would start to hurt after while - so this setup COMPLETELY fixed that problem. I could finally play games without wanting to cut my arm off within 20-25 mins. I did return this controller.

Its pretty hit or miss with the geek squad. They know a ton and can help but cost wise its a bit much. If you have the warranty for the item that always helps but i had a problem with my pc and they wanted to charge over $300 to look at it and keep it over night. I ended up looking it up on youtube and fixed the problem.

Geek squad helped my girlfriend and I set up our surround sound speakers and sound bar to our TV, thanks guys!

When you dont get it you need it. Always get it. What could it hurt. Other than your pockets in the long run, because you have 2 buy it again.

Great product and very durable. Only problem is when I mix certain fruits with ice they don’t blend as well, maybe I should try adding a water or milk mixture .

These are the greatest things. I have never had a bad experience with the warranties. Best part about them is they will refund the full purchase price of the item even at the end of the warranty. other places pro-rate not this one.

I like this protection if anything is wrong with the product, I could change it

the squad repaired my laptop with no problem didn't have to buy a new one and didn't lose any of my data.

It does what it says, the replacement cost seems a little too much for what it offers, apple care or Samsung care might be a better option.

If a protection plan is offered we buy it too. My daughter is rough on everything. Smh she can’t help it I guess.

Worth purchasing if the device is known to fail. Be sure to do research on the product of its longevity before purchasing it. For example, Any Blu-ray game or media disc is scratch-proof no need for a warranty.

Definitely recommended it's come in handy having the warranty.
