This is a very good value, especially since Playstation was having an issue with drift on the original PS5 controllers. Mine went in for repair after only 4 months. This allows replacement at store immediately for any reason for 2 Years.

If you ever think your electronics are going to break down in 2 years, Geeksquad is the way to go. Bestbuy always replaces or refunds no matter the reason!

My wife and I buy all of our gaming accessories from best buy because the 2 year warranty is basically hassle free and their prices are super competitive

We will see how it goes for me. You buy these things hoping not to use it but nice to know it is there. I bought it because it gave an extra year of warranty over the manufactures. Personally I believe when you purchase warranties they should be after the manufacturer’s Warranty period ends. Meaning if they give you a one year plan and you buy a 2 year extended plan then coverage should be for three years. That way it would be a better deal for the cost

I really recommend this plan , my son’s controller was broken and take me 5 minutes to replace for a new one with no charge!

I knew my Elite series 2 Xbox controller would malfunction within 2 years given Microsoft's track record. I went to replace or repair the controller but it was discontinued already. Geek squad refunded the controller no hassle no problem
