    For the price its worth buying a few for your equipment. I own 4 of these now and wouldnt go with any others , unless im looking for strict mechanical. Great range and just works

    Use it... Love it... Have to get it everytime

    Use it... Love it... Have to get it everytime. Literally, cannot overstate this enough to anyone who will listen. Yes, the manufacturer's warranty is nice and everything. But generally speaking, they cover little to nothing. Also, good luck with the hassle of communicating and shipping the item with any kind of efficiency. By the time you finally get back your "warrantied" item, you've already found a replacement or bought newer tech. Now, if you are anything like me and you want customer service. Go with the Geek Squad Protection Plan. Please take 3 to 5 minutes and hear me out in this review. You walk in with your item. Some stores slap a sticker on the item as you walk in... Some just politely point you in the direction of their customer service section of the store. You wait in line for at the most 10 to 15 minutes as they push through there customers with the utmost care and efficiency. Seriously, I am a customer service stickler and they consistently hit the mark for me or impress in that department time and time again. You then proceed to bring your item to a generally very polite... very knowledgeable... BestBuy representative. They politely ask for some basic information and what went wrong with your item... Ratatattat on the keyboard... Thank you, sir or ma'am go ahead and find a replacement OR and this is the best part. OR they give you the option to choose another brand of your liking. Do you know how many times I've bought an electronic for it to just malfunction after less than 2 months or even worse 7 months and that manufacturer's warranty only covers... You guessed it ... 6 months. I swear, these manufacturers time the longevity of their product to die precisely after the warranty is over. I wouldn't advise buying the protection plan on every single product as there are some products with a decent manufacturers warranty. But, take a second and think about buying this far better protection plan that covers EVERYTHING. Not only does it cover your product, but will replace it immediately when you return it... No questions asked. All in all, to be completely honest, the GeekSquad Protection Plan on top of the outstanding customer service is why I continue to purchase my electronic products through BestBuy and will continue to do so. I applaud both companies and thank any representative that I come across while shopping there. Thanks again and keep up the good work... You've got a lifetime customer in me.

    I always get the geek squad warrenty with everything I buy, the longer the warranty the better, always an easy process when replacing and fixing items

    I bought a Playstation Dualsense Edge controller last year and experienced some stick drift. I was under 1 year from date of purchase and when I did buy it, I also bought the Geek Squad protection. Here are my thoughts on that. The Geek Squad protection at Best Buy… it’s a bit of a mixed bag. It’s an extra $60, which is fine if you don’t already have backup thumbsticks. I had some drift issues, brought mine in under a year into ownership, and they swapped it out no problem—but then canceled the protection plan unless I bought it again for the new controller. That’s the part that really rubbed me the wrong way. I was still under Sony’s manufacturer warranty, so why reset my paid coverage? The guy just said, “That’s how we do it.” Well… your way sucks. It should carry over and only be considered in use after the Sony warranty ends, like most other protection plans I’ve had. I'm going to think twice about purchasing it next time around.
