Geek squad is a great support group to have with 24/7 online availability. In store repair services are great and I don’t say this to be nice or anything. I really mean it as I’ve had three of my laptops repaired, replaced, and upgraded. Their attention to detail and patience to help me understand the issues and solutions to my technical difficulties were explained in an easy enough manner that my brothers who isn’t so tech savvy was able to follow along and understand. Highly recommended purchase!

    Best extended warranty!!!

We have used the week squad service many, many times and it is wonderful. Of all the extended warranty companies it is probably the easiest to work with. Some make you Juan through a bunch of hoops and than not cover anything. Geek squad saves the warranty info on their site and than easily does the repair. They are my favorite. You should definitely add the week squad warranty. It is not just affordable it is the best quality.

    Will always get this protection

I got this service for my ps5 controller( stick drift nonstop) and my turtle beach 600 gen2( mic breaking flaw). Best buy replaced both with no problems. Even going back 10+ years ago when i got my Beats by Dre, they would replace them with no issue. My only complaint is that the service is a one time use thing so if your controller has the warranty and you get stick drift and you return it, you gotta buy the warranty again for the new controller. Makes sense, i get it, but i wish i was different. Minor complaint but the few bucks extra is better than spending hundreds to replace something on your own.

    Geeked over GeekSquad

I always will recommend Geek squad protection on products, especially computers, gaming, accessories. They’ve always been amazing when something breaks or needs a replacement. SOOO much easier than dealing with customer service from the actual product and if they can’t figure it out they sometimes just give you a new one. 20/10 recommend them.

At least when it comes to ps5 controllers or gaming headphones I say its worth it these are the only things I've used them on so I'm only using my experience with them. I will say they are always helpful would recommend

This is one of the easiest insurance plans to use depending on what you bring it in for I use it for my headphones and controller something breaks on it or they get stick drift I bring it in they replace it that easy

If you have to use the best buy extended warranty just remember that it ends right then and you'll have to purchase a new one for the replacement controller. If the controller is not in stock in your color they will have to order you a new one in your color. If they have a different color than you bought in stock they will not exchange colors. However they will refund you your purchase price if they can't find a replacement in your color. If you do use the extended warranty during the 2 year period, you will get a prorated refund on the amount you have left on the two year policy. Without the best buy extended warranty, the alternative is using the Microsoft warranty which doesn't last near as long, and you will have to send it off to Microsoft and wait 10 to 14 days to get it back, and they will send you one that's refurbished. This happened to me five times within several months before Microsoft refunded my purchase. So even though the Best Buy warranty is expensive, they do hand your replacement controller if they have it in your purchased color only, and even though the warranty ends at that point in time, they will prorate you what is left in the 2-year policy if you have to use it before the policy is up. That ends up being cheaper than buying a brand new controller, even if you purchase one of the cheapest Xbox brand controllers on the market
