I had bought a PS4 for last Christmas for my son and didn't buy the protection plan and the electricity surged and fried it even thou it was plugged into a surge protector strip. When I explained this to the Best Buy employee he offered the protection plan.

I couldnʻt get a replacement PS5. Geek Squad worker said I had to pay $100 more for a replacement PS5 ? Since they were out of the one I had. They cheated me out of my money. They gave me a gift card for $471.19. When I paid $554.95 and they canceled my 2 yr geek squad so I lost out of $79.99. Bad Customer Service.
