You always get the warranty, you never get the warranty, or you get it sometimes and not, and regret it when you don't. I am the always guy. I have never been disappointed with the level of service Best Buy has offered with their Geek Squad protection.

They no longer fix these, but give you a new one. Especially for a game like this i would recommend spending the money on the protection plan.
