    Thought this covered accidental damage, it did not. I Basically had a philosophical debate with the rep over what the coverage actually means Vs the way the coverage was worded... In the end, I was out a TV and understood the extra coverage wasn't going to be worth it going forward. Fast forward to today and they don't even offer it like this anymore, that's very telling. Honestly, the way they went about it was the saddest display of customer service I've experienced in a while though, it was like they were relieved they didn't have to do anything... What happened? My special needs toddler accidently threw the remote and it hit the screen cracking it through. It would of needed a full screen replacement and it was a nice tv too, also I was clear with them when I bought the extra coverage what I was expecting. Now I just don't spend a lot money on that kind of thing anymore, not worth the hassel. I want to be clear that at no point was rep rude to me, and I'm still a Best Buy customer to this day, but this extra coverage seems like a cash grab more than anything else - unless you're "accident" hits a very specific set of criteria. I was told from the description of events that "screen impacts are not considered accidental" after that I hit a polite wall of refusal to do anything else, not without some empathy, but not helpful either.
