Consider this a warning: If you have any sort of manufacture issues with your item, your protection plan will be used up if you receive a replacement product. You will essentially waste $85 (because of tax) over a faulty due to the manufacture. I purchased a PlayStation 5 two months ago and the fan stopped working two days ago so I took it in to get checked out. They told me it is a manufacturer issue and since Sony has a year warranty, they would be able to just exchange it for a new system BUT that was only because of the protection plan. And because I did that, my two year protection plan actually only covered two months because of a manufactured issue. I’m not paying $85 more for another two year protection plan. I rather just contact Sony and have them help me if it happens again.

I hope this is worth it. I have never been big on extended warranties, but got this one since item was a gift. Nice if needed.

Geek squad is an excellent service when you need them

It is a 2 year warranty, but the product warranty (Play Station 5) is 1 year. So really, you are only buying a 1 year warrantee. I have no idea how or where to cancel this.

The best to have with your electronic purchase . Never buy without it

Never used it. And kind of a loss of money. Will not be buying again

the geek squad warranty is sort of a joke. I have to replace my PS5 controller a lot because the buttons wear down

If you need anything from geek squad make sure you make an appointment in advance, or be prepared to wait.

Protection is a must. I’m clumsy so this was a must Buy for me.

After fifteen months I had to use geek squad warranty service.

Since I am new at gaming, I got the console with a protection plan just in case any event would come up

Still have no idea what point of geek squad still is yet
