Geek squad couldn’t help and told me to go through Sony on fixing my ps5. Was kind of a PITA to have to deal with Sony but GS was helpful in directing how to go about getting my repair done.

I never buy a product from bestbuy without getting the extra coverage.

Geek Squad is always very helpful and have a friendly attitude. I trust them to fix and prices are good. I have scheduled many times and left satisfied.

My old first gen PS5 would shut down on me and luckily i still had Warranty to replace the old PS5 and got the newer updated PS5 model.

Nothing beats this warranty. I mean, you spend alot of money on the console and extras....better believe I'm getting some security....

It was worth getting in the sense they replace the money you paid for it with a best buy gift card if your system messes up. But its not enough to cover a new system at all. They said the ones i bought are old versions and now there are updated ones. It left my 2 sons without gaming systems till i can save up $200 more for each kids game system.

Good to know that if something happens that the product can be fixed or replaced. I had bought a PS4 for last Christmas for my son and didn't buy the protection plan and the electricity surged and fried it even thou it was plugged into a surge protector strip. When I explained this to the Best Buy employee he offered the protection plan.

You never know when you might need it. But it's a good thing to have if you do. Cause you never know when something will get knocked over or dropped and broke.

Honestly when I buy a electric product from Bestbuy I love getting the protections. They always come through for us. Geek squad is something I truly recommend.
