    I was told they would swap it in store when I purchased this console. Had a problem and took it in and they said they do not swap them in store and only send it out for repair. I would not have purchased it knowing I would be without the console.

    I'm not reviewing the actual quality of this service. I'm just letting everyone know to watch their sales reps. I didn't ask for the Geek Squad protection and didn't notice until getting home that the sales rep added the service to my bill without asking me.

    The Extended Warranty Process is Frustrating

    My son bought an Xbox. We purchased the 2-year extended warranty. The Xbox is broken after 1 year 2 months. This should be a simple exchange. We called Best Buy they referred us to the company that handles their extended warranty. We talked to 3 different representatives and waited on hold for 30 minutes. The process will take "at least two weeks", before either the Xbox can be repaired or replaced. Frustrating that the process is not "user friendly" - as we asked how easy it would be to obtain service if we bought the extended warranty and were told it was really easy to get a repair or replacement.

    I forgot I had the protection and the console stopped working so I replaced it. I got it last year 2021 so I’m sure it means nothing now.

    Gamestop warranties are way better if your console doesn't work gamestop swaps it out with a new one right there not geek squad they send it out while you wait for another console thats not good you pay all that money and have to wait for a new console.

    Geek squad is a ripe off. it is not worth the amount of money, they do not replace the console. They just fix it then cancel your warranty. I had a 2 year warranty, I could of had microsoft fix it but they said they will ship it to Microsoft and they give them the part. Now they fix it and now my warranty is over. Do not trust these people at all. They lie.

    I was always told when sold the warranty that it would be a huge store exchange well they changed the policy and they have to mail out the console which takes about a month to come back. And they didn't even replace it and the problem still exists and they told me they have to duplicate the issue but I have a console here that just reboots periodically for no reason and Microsoft all his already deemed it as a problem...but who am I, but just a paying customer Lol

    they didn’t help me with my item. I wasted $70 they told me to go into the store but I don’t live closer store. They didn’t fix my Xbox.

    Can't give zero I paid for this and it didn't help at all when my computer screen cracked just recycled the monitor and I had to buy another

    I understand that the warranty was meant to cover defects possibly already existing within the equipment but you would hope it would cover accidents too however it doesn't and that wasn't stressed when I purchased the plan. So when an accident did happen I was left with a TV that could no longer be used and a warranty that didn't do a dang thing. I might have we'll saved the $ from the warranty and just used the manufacturer warranty because the tv was broken before a year was up.

    Went in to exchange my Xbox One X for another one since mine has been bricking. All of a sudden they are saying I need to turn in my Xbox One X to Geek Squad and that they need to send in to Microsoft. I have never heard this before and it is super inconvenient. I am a streamer and I rely on my Xbox One X for daily content.

    Junk they don’t honor anything !! Wast of money they use 3rd party for repairs on brand new consoles that are less than 2 months old instead replacing with new Xbox series x !! I’ll never buy anything from Best Buy it geek squad again !! Their far from Geeks !!!
