Geek squad is the greatest when it comes to protection plans.

Minimal cost for a little insurance in case anything happens.

Hopefully will never need this, but nice addition at a reasonable price

Not too bad if you have a claim well prior to expiring. My previous experience was they came out and troubleshoot and never repaired or replaced and the item eventually went out for the same original problem and I had to buy a new tv. Not for me

Its a warranty but read the fine print.some things are not covered.

Not really needed. I guess accidents happen? Get it if you are clumsy

It a good plan if it gets mess up they just replace it with no hassle

Due to having so many xbox 360 systems fail; four of them. I purchased this to ensure the health of my Xbox one x. Never had to use it which is a good thing but, would still recommend for a more expensive piece of hardware.

Better safe than sorry. Just in case something happens.

I will update this review if I ever have to use it on my Xbox or controller.

I haven’t used it yet. This is the first time I ever purchased a Geek Squad plan. I heard they take good care of you if you purchase it. Hopefully I won’t need to ever use it. But if I do, it better work!

Mostly never need it... But when I did, it was great to have. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of all the wasted money in the ones I didn't need, I could've just bought more stuff!

I got the protection plan with the Halo Edition Xbox Series X bundle for insurance and just in case something happens. Immediately after opening the box it came with a faulty controller where the d-pad does not register down at times. I contacted my local Best Buy told me to work with Microsoft as it is limited edition, but told them I had the Geek Squad Protection and they scheduled me for it, giving me hope. I went to my appointment and the Geek Squad member took a moment to determine what to do and I mentioned possible replacement. He was able to place in a ticket with the warehouse on swapping out a replacement controller (exact Halo limited edition one), giving me a little more hope. A couple of days later, I got an email from Geek Squad saying they do not have the controller and could not fulfill the replacement... but they would reimburse me if I was able to purchase the controller at another retailer and I provide the receipt... Only problem being that the controller is only bundled with the LE console which is hard to find. It took a moment with customer service submitting a complaint, but I was glad they canceled the plan and refunded me my $80 (which to me with the experience would have been a total waste). Horrible experience and asinine for Best Buy to sell the protection plan if they could not fulfill the issue at all with limited edition consoles.

I don't know what to say but from my own experience I had it for 8 months and I had to send it for repair HDMI won't connect thank god for warranty so far no trouble almost 2 years

Bought to the two year service plan with xbox series x. It was a little pricey and hopefully I will never have to find out how good it is.
