If you are going to spend 450$ on this you better pay for the protection. its better to have and not need it than not have it and need it.

Haven't used it yet but I like the peace of mind it gives me. There's nothing worse than a product failing and you can't fix it yourself.

I always buy the extended warranty on big ticket items through Best Buy. If anything goes wrong, you'll be taken care of.
