Bought the warranty, glad I did. Out of nowhere, the goggles went bad, picture froze. Best Buy replaced them on the spot. No questions, no BS.

2-Year Accidental Geek Squad Product Replacement. What do you think when you read this? According to the manager at customer desk, it does NOT include accidental damage like the title says. Only includes normal wear and tear. How misleading is that? I paid for it anyways because it covers things like freyed cables which on this particular device are not an easy fix if they occur in 2 years or less. Overall I'm a bit disappointed. GSP will still come in handy for devices with low chance of accidental dmg like TVs. But if accidental dmg is not covered it may be a worthless service for laptops/cellphones/wearables which may only break during accidental dmg. I would only half recommend gsp unfortunately as accidental dmg does not seem to be fully covered but it may be worth getting in some scenarios My personal GSP rating so far goes like this. 2 stars out of 5 overall. 5 stars out of 5 for appliances and stationary products but only 0 stars out of 5 for anything with a high a chance of breaking by accident (wearables, mobile devices)

My grandson loves this system, and I have to say I am also impressed. The only issue we have is the fact that the lenses fog up very easily. Other than that, it is pretty amazing!

Always buy the extra guarantee, they are really quick in solving our problems.

I had a lower model and the controller broke and it wasn't able to be repaired and since that model was no longer available, I got an upgraded version for a little more money.

Nothing matches the value of Geek Squad protection. The ability to replace electronics in 2 years after a purchase has saved a ton of money for me. I work with electronics so my wear and tear can easily make replacements needed in 2 years.
