Get the protection. Its a great upgrade to the head strap but the plastic sides are prone to break if not handled correctly. For only 10 bucks, the protection is well worth it.

I have always bought the geek squad protection plan. When i needed it, it payed for itself and then some. More so for a device that is used and carried around by kids.

I wouldn’t buy any product without getting the extended warranty.

Although it's difficult to give a review on a service I haven't had the need to use yet, I would consider this one of the better services out there due to the local component to it.

Replacement plan every 2 years is clutch for always keeping up to date hardware.

Had to replace VR multiple times due to the controllers breaking, wouldn't buy a VR without warranty.
