    For the most part I will purchase a protection plan on electronics because you never know if you are purchasing an electronic that has a defect. Better safe than sorry

    Always get the warranty now a days. They don't last like they used to. I love the warranty for 2 years and able to replace things with same or upgraded model within the 2 years.

    Best Buy's Geek Squad protection has always been reliable and provided support for the product. The only downside might be time at the counter or for repair.

    If you don't believe in extended warranties, I get it. Never did until I took Best Buy up on it. Undoubtedly worth the extra money. They are so fair about replacement.
