If there is one thing I am a huge fan of and tend to collect a lot of its headphones. Headphones, earbuds, true wireless earbuds, headsets, whatever you want to call them I love them all. I always go with headphones that have amazing sound quality and comfort but if there's one thing I can't live without it would be ANC or Active Noise Cancelling. I love being able to tune out everything around me and just enjoy whatever I'm listening too. That's where the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 earbuds shine. The Bose Quiet comfort 2 Earbuds are something I've been waiting for for a long time. I've had the first version since they have come out and felt there could be a few improvements to the design. Bose must have been listening to me because they have improved in every single area. Improved battery life-Check Smaller case-check Smaller earbud design-check Better ANC-check Better BT connection-check When you first open the box you have your typical simple setup with instructions, case, earbud tips, and of course the earbuds. Nothing too fancy but they scream quality as well. Its easy to set up the earbuds, you just download the app and connect to your earbuds which is super easy. Any firmware updates you have will be through the Bose Music app where you can also tweak the shortcuts, quick settings, ANC, and a few other features. For the most part it is setup to use right out of the box. The earbuds come with Medium tips and fittings already attached. However they also include small and large as well depending on your needs. I just stuck with the standard tips and its been fine. They go on just like any other earbuds with a twist into your ear. After everything is set up and you first put on the earbuds there will be a chime like sound which is the earbuds perfecting the ANC base on your environment. Which I do mean perfect. You can barely hear a person talking next to you while you are listening to music or Youtube or anything you would want to watch. It is almost like a you meditated and were able to come to a peaceful calm. Of course you can always turn off the ANC and you will hear the environment clearly. I've used them in several different settings and environments and they are amazing every single time. The sound quality of course is top notch as always and comes well tuned however you can always adjust that in the settings if you prefer more bass or any other tweaks you would want to make. With the new bluetooth I also have no drops in connection or sound quality. Overall I love these Earbuds and they are my daily driver. I use them for several hours a day and they never get uncomfortable or hot. They take away all the noise and leave me relaxed and able to enjoy my sounds in peace. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who wants quality earbuds with the best ACN available on the market right now.

I had concerns because I have very small ear canal. Most earbuds fall out of my ears because they're too big. After I bought these, I put the small tips that came with them on. It wasn't too hard to put them on either which is rare. To my surprise, they fit me perfectly! And for the first time they don't fall out! I can walk around the house clean house do whatever I want and they don't fall out! They are not uncomfortable like the other ones have been either. They fit well, I love the sound-it's awesome. I got the red I love it! I don't have to worry about finding them anymore because I can see where they are right away. This has a very unusual charging plug. The USB plug is attached to the case of the earbuds. You just pull it out and plug it in. No worrying about misplacing your cord. And then, when you're done charging, the cord just goes right back against the body of the case. Where you don't know it's there. This is a unique setup and it's just wonderful. I highly recommend these. I don't usually do reviews for earbuds because I haven't liked very many that I've gotten.

I had the predecessor to these, the Jabra Sport Elite Earbuds which I liked a lot and used for about 2.5 years. Unfortunately, the right earbud broke when I left it in my pants pocket and through it in the wash. I looked around for new bluetooth earbuds and because I already new the quality of Jabra earbuds, most of the issues I had with the others had been fixed in this version, and the price was better than most other choices that were reviewed as similar. Build Much like the previous version, these earbuds feel pretty sturdy . In fact the outer portion feels a lot sturdier than the other ones. The case also feels pretty solid and has a smooth mat finish that seems to resist scuffing quite well. I already dropped it once by accident and it didn't show any signs. My one complaint in terms of quality is that the hinge on the case seems a bit flimsy, and the magnet that keeps it closed is not very strong. The earbuds fell out when I dropped the case. The IP57 water resistance and dust proof rating works great so far. It is a better rating than that of the Sport Elite, which got soaked with sweat several days per week for over 2 years and never had an issue. Just don't put them in a washer! Comfort and size I feel that this is where Jabra made the biggest improvements over the Elite Sport. They are much smaller, lighter, and more comfortable. They stay in even better, especially the left one which for me used to loosen up after about 5 minutes of intense workouts or a run. The case is much smaller than that of my previous pair. It fits pretty well in one of those little coin/ lighter pockets that jeans usually have, though not quite as well as that of the Apple Airpods or Airpods Pro. One complaint I have for this category is that they did not include memory foam tips in the box this time which create a better seal for passive Noise Cancellation, so I had to buy them separately. Sound Overall the sound is pretty good. The Jabra Sound+ app has a great easy to use EQ to adjust when listening to different types of music. The bass is pretty strong, but not overbearing and the mids and treble are decent. The sound is definitely not good enough to hear the subtle complexities of music like jazz or classical, but it is more than good enough for workout music and casually listening while working. Calls Call quality is pretty good. The microphones seem to pick up my voice well without picking up too much of the surrounding noise. Very loud trucks or other vehicles on the street will be picked up, but most of the time it's not an issue. Connectivity Overall pretty good with some minor exceptions. The right earbud can be listened to on its own which is great for listening to directions while staying aware of your surroundings while biking or walking. There is a minor issue with the connectivity that seems to be the one issue that has not been improved on from the Sport Elite. The connection occasionally cuts off when I turn my head to the left while wearing them, and it can sometimes be a little spotty if I put my phone in my left pocket. Overall a minor issue, especially since I usually put it in my right pocket or leave it in front or next to me when I'm working out in place or working. One feature that I would really appreciate but is certainly not necessary would also be the ability to listen to either earbud on its own, rather than just the right one which receives the initial signal. Buttons/controls Pretty great considering how small they are. They take some time to get used to, but once learned it becomes pretty automatic. I especially appreciate the ability to use a voice assistant (google in my case) with them on. I also like that the music is paused when you remove one the left earbud. The hearthrough feature is not as good as I was hoping, but overall pretty good. The ANC that was programmed in with an update in my opinion doesn't make much of a difference, but the seal created by the buds is already very good so it doesn't matter much except with very loud sounds very close by. Battery life The battery life is astronomically better than it was on the Sport Elite model. I have not timed it, but I they do last most of my 8 hour work day, which is about in line with the 7.5 hours claimed by jabra (ANC off). The claimed battery life for the case of 28 hours I'm not quite sure about, because I haven't used it quite enough, but I have used the buds for about 4 days for atleast 3 or 4 hours and the case is still above 90% charged. I definitely recommend these for someone looking for a good pair of true wireless earbuds to work out with. Or just listen to music casually on a commute or during work. If you're looking for ultimate sound quality these are not for you.

This was a very unexpected positive response evokes in these earbuds. I typically get the middle class price range earbuds like skull candy or most audio devices under $100. THESE I picked up for less than $11 because I bought them for 12.99 and used a $5 coupon from Best Buy. These earbuds came unopened, fully charged, and have excellent quality of sound. The bass is on a different planet. I have listened to two Linkin Park cds with these on today and they are bumpin to the max. Get these and get Hybrid Theory today. You will not be disappointed. The case is slimmer than skullcandys and the led indicator lights on the buds are soft fading blue which is tight as well. Quality seems excellent and simple in design. I cannot explain how good these sound and how the bass really brings a lot of different music genres together so well. I bought a second pair after using for a couple hours for my brother to enjoy. If you enjoy music, podcasts, tv shows, etc on your phone these will not disappoint. Linking Park, George Strait, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Staind, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Smashmouth, AC/DC, The Weeknd, NSYNC, Hillsong, Tim McGraw, Michael Buble, Bryan Adams everybody is sounding good.

Long time airpod pro user, then long time use of BOSE quiet comfort 1’s. Switched to these for the smaller earbud size and wanted to try Sony’s product. Sony’s features out of the box with these are great. Nod to accept calls, shake head to reject. EQ has many options, 3D audio is supported in some apps. However, the noise cancelling is easily the strong point on these. I wear these at work in a shop and the earbuds consistently drown out the noise from air compressors and paint booth fans. The sounds quality is great but I didn’t notice a huge difference coming from Bose’s QC1. They both sound great and are a great upgrade from AirPods. The weak point on these is that the stock tops for the earbuds are NOT comfortable. I can handle about 3 hours before it’s too much. But some replacements on Amazon. The other issue I had is that if I took the earbuds out of their case, and then put them in my pocket before inserting into ears, they have issues initializing and only one earbud would play sound. The fix was to walk back to my car, grab the case, insert into case, close and then open, and then put in ears. Cumbersome and annoying . These will be a massive upgrade from what you’re switching from. Not as comfy as Bose but better in every other way.

    Exceeds Expectations

The design changes, overall comfort (including level of head pressure) and potability have all been significantly improved. I actually disagree with many of the editors reviews, it's much better that it doesn't fold twice, the case is much thinner to transport. This also helps make the headphones much more durable overall. In terms of the previous generation model, put quite simply, sound quality is more in line with a neutral profile sounding acoustically tuned pair of reference headphones. Noise cancelling and transparency modes are a night and day difference with respect to the 1000XM4s, but both are still excellent pairs of headphones. The improvements here are well justified for an upgrade. Also the sound profile of the previous generation WH-1000XM4s can be easily restored by using the "excited" EQ setting in the companion app settings. Those carbon fiber dual drivers, 8 noise canceling mics and custom audio co-processor Sony keeps referring to in the marketing materials, are genuinely significant. If you're coming from the previous generation model, the differences are immediately noticable. The price has increased but considering there's a chip shortage and they improved literally all the right aspects of this new pair. It's justified. Well done Sony. And for all those purchasing, enjoy them, they're industry leading for a reason.

I bought the qc45 a couple of months prior, and was astonished at the deplorable quality, ineptitude of engineering that resulted in spotty connection (at 2ft range) at best. I returned those immediately and admonished Bose for wasting their resources and my time. I waited for, and hoped my favorite brand might redeem themselves for such a faux pas, and with THESE headphones, they certainly have done so. The qc ultra offer an exquisite headphone experience that just about almost justifies the exorbitant price. Ease of use, excellent connection (has yet to drop, even at distance). I applaud the tactile controls and comfort, and the perfect combination of noise cancelling and immersion options. These are great headphones for listening to music, video, audiobooks and for making phone calls. These headphones have restored my faith in the Bose brand.

    Excellent Product, Better Support

I have been using Aftershokz headphones for several years now. The product overall is excellent. They are so comfortable that I sometimes look for them forgetting that they are on my head. They are fairly robust and can take months of daily wear and tear. The inbound call quality is excellent and the outbound call quality seems to be good. This is my first pair of the Air product and it is everything I said above, but the outbound call quality seems to be a bit better than the titanium. They are lighter weight so time will tell whether there are any weak spots. The sound and battery quality are comparable to the titanium. The selling point for me with this product is the support, 2-year warranty which results in the replacement product being received in under a week and I have not had to return a headset yet (no postage cost). I purchased my first headset three years ago and had it replaced a few times over two years. Last year I broke a set out of warranty and purchased a replacement. That set lasted almost a year and I purchased the Air because I did not want to go without a headset. Aftershokz has now replaced that set and now I have the Titanium and Air. There are few products I get excited about, but the quality of the product and the support makes me borderline giddy. Thank you Aftershokz for giving me so many years of comfortable portable sound.

This is my first pair of ANC's so not a lot to go on. But I do have one of Marshall's BT speakers and love it so I pulled the trigger. I do love the performance and appreciate not having to max the volume on airplanes to hear music/movies as I did when using my Bose Soundsports (nothing wrong with these, just drowning out airplane noise is not what they were intended for). The sound is great but not as good as a true (corded) audiophile headphone. However, they don't lack in providing great sound. Downside is no hard case which I think is a big miss on Marhsall's part. I stole my son's beats case and it works great so I will be using that for travel. Got them on a good sale but would have had a hard time paying full price for these or any others since this is my first set.

These little Sony buds are worth every cent. Multiple purpose. They shush the noise on the subway or airplane and they do not slip or become dislodged during intense exercise. If you skip rope, do burpees or any kind of inclined or declined training, these buds are with you for every repetition. The Sony app is useful. It allows for customization of your sound with an equalizer, there is also a bass boost to round out your listening. At 100 dollars or less, you probably will not find better earbuds than these. Highly recommend.

My last headphones fell out of my pocket and we're ran over. Luckily, these were on sale. The case is textures so it doesn't move around in my pocket at all. I had the xm4s. These are better. They're more comfortable, they sound better imo and the ANC had no noticeable difference. The best party was the price. I got these on sale for $120. The xm5s were $169 more at the time.
