2-yr Accidental Geek Squad Protection is an absolute must, whether you're prone to misfortune with your electronics or not. It gives me peace of mind and when its available I add it. The agent that assisted me was courteous and gave me a stress-free experience when I needed to make use of my protection plan. I was able to replace my item the same day and left the store very happy.

The guys that helped me go through smart watches and discuss the different abilities and functions of a dozen different models was very helpful in my decision. I bought my TV earlier this year and it was the same then, very insightful staff that got a budget and preferences right away, and ran through a ton of options to help, and saved me time and effort researching myself!

This watch was very good, the only con is that sometimes the heart rate sensor seemed a bit off and took long to actually start tracking. This was mainly annoying during workouts where I wanted to maintain 120-140bpm and wanted this as proof of improving my cardio but wouldn't read it to me, otherwise, very nice, customizable, and comfy.

Factory warranties are great, but thats only for manufacturer defects. Accidental coverage for multiple years definitely gives you less stress as you don't have to worry if it accidentally breaks. I wouldn't buy an electronic device without it.

I loved my Fitbit. It worked great for about a year. I'm trying to get Geek Squad to fit it, but so far no luck. they haven't answered when I reach out to them. It's been a few months of trying. Shame.

After always avoiding the "extended warranty" on everything, that for my watch I NEEDED the Best Buy extension! Now look... I'll probably never need this extra insurance now!

Uh I really don't know what to say about reviewing a plan thing I mean it gives me peace of mind knowing if it breaks they fix it or whatever

My watch was less than a two years old, I brought it in and showed the worker, they looked at it, and noted that it still had coverage (they didn't actually have to do that) when I asked them what I can do about the watch (It had totalled failed). They pointed out the clerk at the return desk, put a note in the data base, and when I walked up I was taken care of in a polite and professional manner, and the Young man who did the return and replace was of good manner and attitude.

I wear my GPS watch almost 24/7. I only take it off to shower and charge. Thus, I always purchase the 2-year replacement plan and have had no issue using the plan, when needed. The plan allows me to swap out the watch for a brand new watch. You can swap it out for the same model or, if you’re looking to upgrade, you get a credit for the price paid to apply to another GPS watch. I know the replacement plan seems expensive, but it’s worth it. If you wear your watch everyday like me, your watch gets a LOT of use. The replacement plans have saved me hundreds of dollars over the years.

No matter what product I purchase from Best Buy, I get the Geek squad protection. Aside from getting your money back, they will replace anything no matter what. Even if you just don't like it anymore. They will credit you the amount of the item and prorate your plan for what you haven't used and credit you that amount too. Just read the fine print so you know exactly what is covered and what is not. Some stores will make you exchange same day for a similar product, but most stores are able to give you store credit of you choose to return an item within the 2 years. Always a good investment if you, like me, change your mind frequently and also like to have the newest tech. The protection plans have yet to fail me, they are a must with any tech purchase!!

I've had this watch for about 18 months and had no problems with it at all. Like the options to change the appearance and information on the face as often as desired without cost. I been motivated to be more active and in doing so am more healthy!

My Samsung watch stopped working just before this warranty was over and I am so glad I bought it. I got store credit, and I purchased another Geek Squad protection for the other electronics I bought.
