The first time I bought a warranty for my huawei smartwatch I was not very comfortable, but then I had and accident and it broke, recieved very good service not too many questions they just replace it, fix it or give u a card with the value of your watch from store and you can buy a new one, where I am from this kind of warranty is a headache, they will ask for original charger, original boxes... everything and if missing something warranty will not be valid

Glad I got the Geek protection, My watch face took a hit from a blunt object at work. It probably save my wrist frim damage. My Geek warranty was almost up in 2 weeks but no questions asked, gave me a new one of current model and i was on my way.

To protect against scratches, if anything could go wrong without the screen protector, my wife would find away by accident. Now it's covered. Great warranty!

I had forgotten I had purchased this with my jawbone. So glad I did. The band isn't as flexible as I needed it to be, so eventually the material tore, which affects the tracker altogether since the sensors run through the band. The wire was exposed. I was about to just throw it away and found the original email receipt showing the plan purchase. I was pleasantly surprised when I got credit for the full purchase value, many plans give credit based on the today price, and that was a 75% decrease in the year I had it. Of course my jawbone is no longer carried in the store, but I had no problem upgrading to my new samsung gear2, thanks to the full value credit given..yay!

I bought my first fitbit in November 2015 and am currently on my third fitbit. Each time I have gone to BB to replace my fitbit through this Accidental Geek Squad Product Replacement, I have encountered no problems and the process has been smooth and easy! It is definitely worth it to have peace of min in case anything happens to your electronics. I had to replace my first one due to the charging port malfunctioning/breaking and the second one because it just stopped working (not sure if it got too wet on a rainy day). During my second replacement, I was able to upgrade to the charge2 and pay the $20 difference between the two prices. I was extremely happy and pleased! :)

Weight is pretty accurate. BMI and BF% fluctuates from day to day but I guess that is normal since the ranges are not too drastic. I have been weighed with Tanita scale in weight loss program and the numbers I got from Fitbit Aria 2 were the same, again making room for some fluctuations. This is a great accessory if you already own Fitbit watch & use the app. Me & my husband both use this scale & watches & are not disappointed. Set up was fairly easy & we have no issues with wifi connection or syncing to watches or app. Some setting are only changeable in main users online account not in app (like setting weight to private so other app/scale users cant see your weight.) This replaced my old scale that only showed weight after the number wouldn't budge after 4 weeks of diet & exercise. The Aria 2 shows better progress, since switching my weight has only gone down a pound but I show my BF% going down over the course of a few weeks, The visual motivation I needed!! I give 4 stars instead of 5 because like all FItbit products I comes with lack of thorough instructions or user guide.

This plan was bought for my wife's Samsung watch. The watch back fell off just before the warranty expired. Best Buy could not get the same watch to replace hers so they upgraded her for no charge.

A great way to feel like you've got an option for return/fix/replacement after that 15-30 day return window. Depending on if its close to the return date and you can actually return- you'll get a prorated amount back from what you've paid into the protection plan. With that, I've used the protection several times, as we all know electronics and items in general are not made to last like they used to. Some items are not worth it, but in my experience, its been a high value, low risk, low cost (in most instances) option.

It is a must get. Easy to exchange or fix. Hassle free.

I have purchased this protection on almost all my electronics. When I have had to use it, the replacement process has been very easy. I was leary at first, but after my first time having a product fail I will buy again. Product failed twice within a little over a year. Both times I brought in my receipt, item and original packaging to a BestBuy and walked out 15 minutes later with a brand new replacement. No waiting on a manufacturer replacement, shipping return costs or going weeks without my item and the second failure would have been outside the standard manufacturer warranty and not replaced for free if I hadn't purchased this plan.

the protection plan is definitely worth it. but the trick to making it work right is to go to a Bestbuy location that actually will do what they are supposed to do and attempt first to fix your issue and not just refund your money to a gift card.

I don’t usually get extra warranty/protection type add-ons because I find most of the time they do not get used. I also usually stand by the support and service of the Fitbit company (which is what I purchased the protection for). However, when my last Fitbit watch broke, it was out of the scope of their warranty. If I had the Best Buy extra protection it would have been covered. The new one that I purchased was the upgraded and more expensive version. Adding the Best Buy protection for just a little bit more gives me the peace of mind that my investment is a little safer even if I don’t have to use it!
