i didn't have the geek protection with my first one as it was a gift and and after a year and a half it broke and there was nothing i could do and also the warranty had expired.

Any problem they will help you with the guarantee, it is some money more but it won't break your heart once you drop your watch

I haven't had to use it yet, but you should not buy this watch without purchasing the insurance. I've got the face a few times and have been very lucky that it hasn't cracked.

Geek squad offers the best protection, even if the screen breaks you can get a new one and if theres a newer model you can just pay the difference for the upgrade!
