Geek Squad offered to repair my old Galaxy Watch 4 when it wasn't working or I could have it returned for a defect under the policy and get it pretty much replaced at full value. I was able to opt for a return of my old model 4 since it wasn't connecting and the replacement paid of an upgrade to the Galaxy Watch6 and a new protection policy. Well worth it in my experience!

I upgraded from the galaxy watch 4 to the galaxy watch 6. The display and response is definitely much improved, battery seems to be better so far but it is brand new so that's expected. My 4 would last less than half a day so this was very necessary. I believe there are more apps available too. The biggest thing in my opinion and this might've been available on the 4, was snoozing/ turning off the alarm to my phone, from my watch. It's a game changer lol.

I threw this on a Samsung Galaxy Ring purchase because I had doubts. Turns out I was right. The battery on it died in six months. It was super easy to get my money back, but it was store credit. There's no way to repair the ring and I decided I didn't want to risk another failure, so all I could get was credit to a store I don't normally shop at. Better than a piece of worthless e-waste, but not what I really envisioned. Read the terms and make sure you know what you are and aren't getting for whatever you cover.

This watch is worth the money. I love that I can receive calls and texts and it's just as clear as talking on the phone. It definitely comes in handy for emergency situations when I need to be reached and don't have my phone on hand. I've started my fitness journey and have tried other watches that track progress and honestly, this one offers so much that I wouldn't go back to any of the others.

Only needed it twice over the many years and buy, but the peace of mind it gives is great. The two times I had an issue the exchange process was so easy!

The Product Replacement option is an essential "insurance policy" that I get for the more expensive personal technology items, particularly items like "smart watch" and tablets. More than once I have had an item decide to go buggy a couple of years after purchase, and Best Buy has ALWAYS stood behind their replacement program and if the original product is not available, they have courteously extended a credit towards a newer model. This is something that you don't want to "have to use" but just having the product replacement policy on my personal technology devices is worth it for the peace of mind. Not every item needs the extra coverage, but expensive personal technology is too much of a hassle to "send back to the factory and wait a month" when Best Buy will swap it out one the first visit.

I purchased this open-box Samsung Galaxy Watch7 and it looks and works like new. I also purchased the service plan for piece of mind.

ALWAYS purchase the protection plan. I haven't switched to the new membership tiers yet just because I don't believe I would save as much. But it's come in handy on 2 Galaxy watches (1 bricked and the other screen broke) and a couple headsets (dog ate one). Go in with broken item, get refunded your money minus the plan coverage (you're using it). Go repurchase your item and you own the cost of protection plan. It's just saved my butt quite a few times.
