My MK watch stopped working....made an appointment with them...took ot in and gave me money back after almost 2 years to buy another watch....its really worth getting that extra protection

I normally purchase Geek Squad Protection for all of my devices. I purchased the protection for the Galaxy Watch that I upgraded from. I was watching tv at night and I felt a little itch on my wrist. The itching got worse and I took the watch off. The rear of the watch was very warm and it left a mark overnight. I took the watch back to Best Buy the next day. I was given the full price of the watch, taxes and protection plan on a gift card within a few minutes. Excellent customer service.

Glad I got the Geek protection, My watch face took a hit from a blunt object at work. It probably save my wrist frim damage. My Geek warranty was almost up in 2 weeks but no questions asked, gave me a new one of current model and i was on my way.

Anyone that buys more than 5 pieces of electronics at Best Buy should get this plan. It helped me save money on washer and dryer installations, notebook SSD harddrive swaps, camera repairs, and a few more. The new feature they have now is that anything that you buy, you get 2 years extra geek squad protection. I think it is worth the money so far and the tech guys in Colma location and pervious San Bruno location are just great people!

I bought this for my son when he got his new Galaxy phone. A year later someone dropped his phone while taking a picture and the screen cracked, so we brought it in to get fixed. Was told a new screen would cost $100 or we could get a new phone for $250. Since the phone was a year old and would require them to crack the case to replace the screen we went ahead and went with a new phone. Took a couple days for them to send us the new phone and we sent the old one back. Quick memory transfer and back in service.

We purchased the Geek Squad Protection plan for my husband and my Samsung watches. We have many construction projects and work with materials that could potentially damage our watches since we are using our hands and arms a lot. We wanted the assurance that our watches were covered if something were to happen to them. We have purchased the protection plans for other products before and have been very happy with the service provided and what is included under their coverage plan.

the protection plan is definitely worth it. but the trick to making it work right is to go to a Bestbuy location that actually will do what they are supposed to do and attempt first to fix your issue and not just refund your money to a gift card.
