Its great to have that peace of mind especially with something that will be enduring the elements.

Videos take long to download. Even using the SD Quick Reader you need to download everything through the app. Not convenient when you film multiple videos and have to wait for it to download. The battery life is also bad. After just 45 minutes, the camera will be too hot and low battery. It can’t charge until it cools down. Having the camera in the cube will make the camera get hot even faster. Only good thing is that it’s small, compact, and good for quick 30 sec videos. Not good for day vlogging.

Hopefully the warranty will be worth the costs of the plan.

My son got this with his go-pro. It is what it is i.e. peace of mind. I would say that one year can come up fast and in his case for a go-pro that is built o withstand accidental drops etc it is probably not worthwhile

TVs are expensive. They cost more to fix that to replace. Get the warranties.

Complete rip off. Best Buy in Orland Park, IL keeps giving me excuses about refunding my return on this warranty. Already spoke with 3 managers and it has been months of me driving back and forth and spending at least an hour each time at the store. Calling is useless because no one answers or the call center cannot help me. I cannot use the warranty on the camera that has already been returned.

This coverage has always been a good value for me.
