A MUST HAVE, when it comes to expensive and EASILY breakable items. I've sadly had to use it anout 4 times since I've got it

I've been using Best Buy's warranty system for 20 years and it never disappoints.

Worth it. I think the price is based on how much the item costs but $50 to guarantee a new item within two years is worth. In two years if there’s anything even slightly wrong just take it in and you’ll likely walk out with a brand new version of your item.

Warranty is the best. It was recommended to me by my father after i started playing competitively and wearing my controllers out fast

The geek squad protection is great value because it protects your products if something were to happen to them

Bought the 2 year geek squad warranty and I am pleased to know if my item fails to works or breaks that it will be replaced

They answered my question easily and was able to give me a solution within minutes

I love the best buy warranty for headsets and controllers. Especially for the kids or hard core gamers that will get drift. Just pay any difference in price and repay the warranty and get a new item, no hassle!

It is always a good idea to buy the extended warranty. The only thing I don’t like about it is you have to purchase the warranty a second time once you return an item. It should be valued no matter how many items you return until the term expires.

I bought a Playstation Dualsense Edge controller last year and experienced some stick drift. I was under 1 year from date of purchase and when I did buy it, I also bought the Geek Squad protection. Here are my thoughts on that. The Geek Squad protection at Best Buy… it’s a bit of a mixed bag. It’s an extra $60, which is fine if you don’t already have backup thumbsticks. I had some drift issues, brought mine in under a year into ownership, and they swapped it out no problem—but then canceled the protection plan unless I bought it again for the new controller. That’s the part that really rubbed me the wrong way. I was still under Sony’s manufacturer warranty, so why reset my paid coverage? The guy just said, “That’s how we do it.” Well… your way sucks. It should carry over and only be considered in use after the Sony warranty ends, like most other protection plans I’ve had. I'm going to think twice about purchasing it next time around.

If anything went wrong, I got a replacement and if it was a more expensive version, i only paid the difference. Fast and easy solutions for a lil more money goes a long way.
