If Geek Squad/Best Buy offers you a accidental replacement plan buy it! It means that item will be replaced in the store or you will be given a gift card if it is no longer working. You do not have to send your product off for repairs. Just describe the issue and grab another product.

I have never had a hassle replacing a damaged piece of electronic gear. This level of service and security is why I don't buy from Amazon and only buy from Best Buy.

I add The Geek Squad protection plan everytime I buy a new headset for my son. This plan really is a grest deal. You have 2 years to use the plan to replace the item that is protected for equal or lesser value.
