    I always by the extended protection plans and get a discount on them for being a Total Tech member. I haven't had to use one yet, but knowing my local BestBuy - I'm sure it will be painless event if I ever have to.

    Hands down it just makes sense to get a replacement on a purchase. You just don't know when something could happen. The price is reasonable, The Geek people are super nice and helpful so I always get it.
