I strongly recommend protection plans everytime they are offered. Best Buy is best in class when is comes to offering affordable reassurance when buying new computers and phones.

I've used the protection plan for many things before. Best protection plan ever. Most plans normally just cover non accidental hardware malfunctions. This one covered accidental, if you crack a screen, drop in water, break a button they will fix it. I got it for my Nintendo switch and for $8 for 2 years I couldn't pass it up. Any mobile/handheld device should have protection
