    Geek Squad no-showed for both appointments

    Need to have my washer repaired. Tech no-showed for both appointments that I had with Geek Squad to fix it. I am still awaiting the repair. It is a big runaround. For the 2nd missed appt, tech says he was at my house for 15 minutes waiting for me and I no-showed. I was home all day. My security cameras do not show him at our house or even on our road that entire day. I do not recommend geek squad for appliance repairs.

    DIDN'T DO THE JOB I PAID FOR

    Two "Geek Squad" servicemen just dropped off my washer and dryer (banging it all the way down the stairs to my basement), then acted like they were going to get parts to install it, then sped off in their truck WITHOUT DOING THE INSTALLATION. I called and asked them when they'd be coming back to do the install and they said it's "not their job". They then cursed me out. NEVER ORDER INSTALLATION OF APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY - this has to be a joke.

    My dryer messed up right after the warranty expired. You would think they would give you your moneys worth. No services or repairs in those 3 years the warranty was active. Waste of money. Don’t do it. Save the money instead and use it for any actual repair you may need.

    Received no notification that my extended service warranty would be expiring and was not given any option to extend it. Of course on the 4th year after purchasing this fancy washer is acting up. Very disappointed.

    Never use on computers.

    NEVER use on computers. If something small breaks, such as a key popping off your keyboard, they will "junk" out your computer and offer you a new one at a fraction of the value. They will never offer like for like and only ever give you current market value. If you purchased a laptop for $2,000 and something minor breaks after the manufactures warranty expires, expect a $200 replacement.

    They come out to work on the dryer and it still doesn’t work. They waited until close to warranty expiring before they came. Now I have no warranty and no dryer.

    I used my 3-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan and it sucks. Do not waste your money BestBuy don't honor the protection plan. Im really disappoint

    Failed installation: Process over customer service

    Delivered new washing machine leaking oil. Pointed leak out to the installer who didn't look at the washer and installed anyway. Called the Geek Squad customer service who said they couldn't do anything until it showed delivered.

    Water filter broken in newly installed fridge.

    We had a fridge installed in our new home and in less than 24 hours our water filter is leaking. I called customer service and they said it would be a week before they could be out. They were no help in solving our problem or getting someone out sooner to fix/replace our fridge.

    This washing machine and dryer combo was the absolute worst investment we made. They are supposed to last at least 10-13 years. It didnt even make it 5 years

    Extended Warranty

    I purchase an extended TV warranty from Best Buy, it's really a warranty from AIG. Everything went okay with the outsourced repair shop (good guy) he says no parts available. Now it's been several days and no contact from AIG, I've been on hold for 20 minutes trying to get an update. This is our family room TV and it's very inconvenient not having it.

    I have had Geek Squad for several years and have not had an issue until today. I was on hold for over an hour and a half and the Mahinder P would not respond back with an update... Terrible customer service!

    Will not honor

    Will not honor the warranty. Claims item is out of warranty. Was purchased in 2019. Suggest they halve the cost and be honest about only honoring within 2 years. Perfectly willing to repair. And add extra repaires at a cost above replacement value and quickly, still. So thats a bonus. I suppose.

    If I could give it a negative review I would. In 2 weeks we are on 5 visits and 2 machines. Both the washer and dryer !! Don’t buy these !!!

    DO NOT BUY!! I’ve had the dryer until for 4 years and has burnt all my clothing and left a honeycomb Permanent hard black material on the clothing. Waste of money!!

    Do not purchase this protection plan. This is a pure fraud! Their customer service is only great when you are buying something and their customer support on claims is Abysmal. Do not buy this!! You will get burned.
