Anything that you can purchase protection for, you should. This product costs 100$, and if something goes wrong, cannot easily be fixed. So spend 20$ now, and be able to replace it for free, for at least two years, which is more than its warranty can say.

I have not used the sqard yet however I am quite sure that they can get it done whatever it is.

Geek Squad is worth the money, had a device stop working and called placed a claim took into the store and replaced with an equivalent item.

Bought this to go along with a recent printer purchase. It was an all-in-one inkjet office printer, and this paper works with it beautifully. It's a bit heavier than your standard grade printer paper, but not as heavy as cardstock. A nice professional grade paper!

I always purchase Geek Squad replacement plans on product that I plan for long term use especially on items used on a reg basis. If they fail, they are replaced by Bestbuy.

I have never had an issue with using the protection plan. I get it on all my electronics (smart watches, ear buds, etc...) when and if something goes wrong I bring it in and they change or fix the product for me.

Not sure how I'd rate this as I haven't returned the product yet, but generally my experiences with Best Buy are quite pleasant. I'll edit the review if any changes develop, but I do suggest purchasing the product replacement to family and friends.

Knowing that my desk jet is covered for if any problems go wrong with it is a relief just because things always happen to me and I have to pay a lot more to get it fixed. This way it can get looked at and fixed with little amounts than a lot at one time.

Since I enrolled in the Best Buy Geek Squad program, I don't worry about my computer problem anymore. Besides, I received some discount on another service. It is a win-win product.

I've seen the GEEK SQUAD stand by their promise. Nothing feels better than buying new electronics; what spices that splendid feeling is knowing that if its not functioning its easily replaced. No hassle, no questions, no problems with replacing it.

Bestbuy charges for a protection plan depending on the cost of the item purchased. They used to take the manufacturers warranty and if the item was defective in to account before applying the protection plan. So they would only use the protection plan in extreme cases. They don't do this anymore. If anything happens to your product you only have 15 days to return it. After that they apply the protection plan to any issues with the product and if you want to keep the protection plan after the issue you have to repurchase it. I had a HP printer fail from a manufacturers defect after 6 weeks of use. I took it back and told them I need to get another printer. They took it back with little question but also used up my $50.00 protection plan in the process. I asked them why are you using my protection plan on a defective item? They said if I don't want to use up my protection plan then I would have to deal with HP directly. In addition they would only offer store credit and refused to give me a refund. I understand that a company has to make a profit to stay in business but there is something just not right about how they are handling this now. Essential if you want the option and privilege of returning an item no matter the circumstances you need to buy a protection plan.

I have purchased contract extensions in the past and have received one or two replacements because of the contract. One time I missed the deadline by less than one week. Being a good customer, I hoped the company would have helped me out with replacement via contract. It's up to the individual to buy a contract, if your printer will be idle for an extended period of time, I would say get the contract.

BEST ever for quick repair or service without having to bring my heavy PC in (Usually) online. And for smaller devices like a laptop, they are usually quick & fast! Worth the subscription price.

I always purchase this warranty, got burnt on a few occasions with purchases that were not stores fault but a manufacturer issue. Don't like to spend the extra cash but sometimes it's worth it.

When we purchased the printer, we also got the extended warrenty plan. We were glad we did because so happen the printer was having problems and we bring it in to best buy and was exchanged to a new printer. The service was very smooth. and quick.
