I was having some issues with gen 1 and because of buying the 2 year warranty Best Buy simply replaced it with the gen 2. I even got a Best Buy gift card for the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2 price.

I always have a piece of mind when I purchase the protection plan. I did not end up needing their service to hook up my product but at least I knew if I needed them too they would.

I haven't used this Protection Plan as of today, 9/16/20. I have purchased and used the plan on other purchases and been totally satisfied when I've had to use the plan.

Don't hesitate on getting this protection plan. It really helps in the event you need it. I have purchased in the past as well and they have been a real lifesaver. Best Buy makes the replacement process easy and quick.

When it comes to modern electronics I never pass on the GSP. Quality control is not what it used to be and the last thing you want is have to deal with manufactures warranties. GSP will protect you better and longer.
