    Used the service twice for installation in my house. One time for in store repair of a laptop and will be having them out 2 more times to install a speaker and wall mount a TV

    I bought the SteelSeries arctic 7 headset for my brother for his birthday and after around 8 months the headset would no longer charge. It was effortless to get it swapped out for a new one using the geek squad product replacement plan.

    2-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement is good to have. The cost is affordable and it gives you peace of mind knowing if there is a problem they will replacement your item for free. No questions asked.

    Protection plan not what it used to be

    Bestbuy charges for a protection plan depending on the cost of the item purchased. They used to take the manufacturers warranty and if the item was defective in to account before applying the protection plan. So they would only use the protection plan in extreme cases. They don't do this anymore. If anything happens to your product you only have 15 days to return it. After that they apply the protection plan to any issues with the product and if you want to keep the protection plan after the issue you have to repurchase it. I had a HP printer fail from a manufacturers defect after 6 weeks of use. I took it back and told them I need to get another printer. They took it back with little question but also used up my $50.00 protection plan in the process. I asked them why are you using my protection plan on a defective item? They said if I don't want to use up my protection plan then I would have to deal with HP directly. In addition they would only offer store credit and refused to give me a refund. I understand that a company has to make a profit to stay in business but there is something just not right about how they are handling this now. Essential if you want the option and privilege of returning an item no matter the circumstances you need to buy a protection plan.

    I always get the extended warranties on all my electronic purchases. It is well worth it. The 2-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement was not only EXTREMELY reasonable, but they will replace the item for you with a brand new one...if anything happens!

    Geek Squad has assisted me in several situations. Laptop, Google Home, TV's, refrigerator, etc. Very happy. Intend to use Best Buy for any needs due to customer service and Geek Squad service.

    For all my bigger purchases I always put this protection on my purchases. As a former employee, i know the value behind these service plans. Best Buy will do the best they can to satisfy

    Great Canon printer with 2 year warranty with Geek

    I only purchase Canon printers because they never have given me any problems. Great for photo printing giving high quality products.I have not utilized Geek Squad for this item as yet.

    Normally never do this but under 10 to cover the headset mine as well. Specially since I had 4 headsets in 7 years. The claim full replace no fixing for 2 years. So hopefully I wont need but the way its been going I likely will.
