Actually having Geek Squad protection doesn't mean a lot to me. I purchased a computer and all the periperials that go along with an ASUS ROG game computer, over $4000. I wasn't sure how to update it to Windows 10 so they told me to bring it in. I had to go back home and bring them the power cord and show them how to plug it in. They had no power cord for it. days later they called to say they had finished and that evening I was on the line with Microsoft for 4 hours trying to fix what they had done. They may have worked wonders for many and Im sure they have but they just didn't for me. I love best buy, the employees, customer service, everyone. We're always treated so well there, Im just not a Geek Squad fan.

This service is FANTASTIC! The reps are available 24/7 and truly know computers. They are patient, willing to help and teach and answer all questions, no matter how basic. If they don't feel that they can adequately solve my problem, they will escalate the situation to the next level tech person. They have helped me with my cell phone, my laptop, my desktop, my monitor, my printer. I have convinced several friends to sign up for this wonderful service. I understand that the yearly fee has doubled since I first joined and am happy that my renewal amount was the same this year as it was in the past.

The color and speed are much better than the inkjet. However, ink is crazy expensive in comparison, and the paper curls, meaning I have to babysit the printer when printing more than one page, or it jams. I have mixed feelings, but I needed something better for printing labels.

I was very unsatisfied with the HP Envy printer I had bought at BEST BUY. My previous HP had worked well enough but broke as soon as it went off warranty. For some reason my Envy was not connecting with my wifi at all. I had called HP numerous times as well as Geek Squad, with no solid connection. So, after a year of reconnecting everytime I printed, I "traded it in" for an HP Office Jet Pro (HP finally figured out what was wrong) and because I had the product replacement warranty I paid nothing. Boy, was I lucky, the Pro was on sale and I got another replacement agreement!! I received $11 back. The problem was in the connection with the high power wifi and the cable company. Love these geeks. Greatest agreement ever.

I have not used this warranty as of yet, so i cannot write a review of it.

Always good to have this and is not very expensive to have. I have had very seamless experience in past for products i had issues and had geek squad protection.

Sales Representative was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Sales Representative was patient and did not rush me or pressure me to purchase.

Makes no sense to not buy the extended warranty. Anything goes wrong and Best Buy replaces the device. No questions asked.

I had taken this protection for a gaming mouse that's known to breakdown within few months. As expected, the mouse stopped working within few months of use & I took it to Best Buy. The Tech person checked the mouse whether if there was any physical abuse done. Once satisfied all was good, the tech team offered me a full 'refund' on the mouse that could be used on another product within Best Buy. Hence, I would suggest do a review of the product you wish to buy and then decide if you wish to purchase this services.... it's like paying for peace of mind. Hope this review helps. Thanks!!

Good insurance that my new printer will last longer than the previous one or be replaced if not.

This is a must have something you really need it comes in very handy and highly worth the money and I will Renew it every time it’s about to run out anytime I have the opportunity for geek squad total protection for geek squad service I get it it’s something I think as I said it’s a must have and you really want to buy it comes in handy saves you money and it’s just something that if you don’t get your wish you did

I purchased a Four Year (4) Geek Squad maintenance agreement to protect my new CANON INKJET Printer. The agreement was low cost in my opinion, and I know I will be protected from breakdowns.

The $5 product replacement plan is worth the cost of replacing the printer if needed over the next 4 years.
