Need to protect your investment, the cost for protection is very low considering how much you would have to pay to buy a new one should your product be defective.

I don’t always get protection on purchases but on larger items like printers I do. It has been neurotically because printers tend to go out after 2-3 years.

The peace of mind knowing that my investment is covered for 4 years is priceless!

I have not yet had to test the waters with the 2-year GEEK SQUAD PRODUCT REPLACEMENT PLAN, but the fact that it's there has allowed me just enough confidence to continue trying to keep the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 it is insuring, even though I've already gone through 2 in 2 weeks under the standard 15-day replacement program.

Pleased to have bought the product replacement on my tech products like my printer because you never know when something will go wrong.
