Surely you've had the experience of your ink jet printer drying up while you were away. This had to happen to us twice before we figured out that there had to be a better way. And there is a better way - buy an inexpensive replacement guaranty from Best Buy and let them worry about the hassles of making it work again.

We always get the Geek Squad Protection on our high ticket items purchased from Best Buy. When I used them in the past, I got great Customer Service!

Good for the money but the real test will be when I have an issue with it. To make a better protection plan, best buy should offer at least a one year extention as the 2 year plan is up.

The 4-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement is a great piece of mind to have. It covers so many things. Totally a must have on expensive items.

Computer started acting up. Took it in and they quickly evaluated it and decided it needed more service. They had it about 6 days. Returned with no more problems

Buying the replacement is very worth it when it comes to peripherals like mouses and headphones, make sure you get it because you use those devices everyday and they break and wear out!

SIGNED UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP TO HELP ME WITH MY SCANNING ISSUE WITH MY NEW HP PRINTER. THE GUY DID EVERYTHING I HAD ALREADY DONE AND I TOLD HIM THAT I NEEDED TO SCAN FROM MY HP APP. AFTER SITTING THERE FOR AN HOUR HE SAID OH YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT HP. HE LOADED A SCAN OPTION ON MY COMPUTER WHICH I HAD BEFORE IT WORKED ONE TIME AND NOW WHEN I TRIED TWO DAYS LATER THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER. I FEEL RIPPED OFF AND MY ISSUE WAS NEVER FIXED. NOW I CAN'T SCAN AND HAVE TO CALL HP IN THE END. I'D REALLY LIKE MY MONEY BACK AS THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

it is important to get the warrenty, i have always bought the extended warrenty and it has always been good to me

Had to return the keyboard because one of the keys was defective and kept sticking. Only had it a couple of months and thought the product warrantee covered a full exchange. Geek Squad prorated the coverage so there was a charge. However the service at the store was excellent and getting a replacement was easy :)
