    The now ubiquitous extended warranty is an unfortunate byproduct of today's manufacturing standards. This was a good deal.

    The price of the warranty is high yet having the security with knowing if anything happens at least you get a new product at that value makes it worth it. Have had problems in the past yet I'm hopeful those are not the same issues now.
