    Make sure your check your receipt and it picks the right coverage. I bought this 2 times picking loss and theft on 2 phones. when i went to use it they said it was only covered for damage. porches were at 2 different dates. i lost my phone they did not honor the coverage of what i picked even though the agent said it was a system error & it wasn't my fault. She also said that many other customers have been calling in with this same exact issue. still waiting for a refund on both phone plans from purchase date they said they would processes ....... not holding my breath any longer

    It takes forever to get a live chat. The agent just kept asking if I have anything else without really solve my problem. Not helpful.

    Bought 2 air filters and worked well BUT both went completely dead just after the 2 year Geek Squad Replacement plan.......... +$400 down the drain.

    They didn't inform us we needed a copper line. The installer cut my plastic line and left with the water turned off to my house. Ran a copper line and hooked up water line myself

    Geek Squad Warranty fails to impress

    I’ve purchased Best Buy’s warranty several times but never tried to use it until a few months ago. What a nightmare. I would call their customer service and would be left on hold for so long and would connect to the incorrect department or hung up on. I have a broken air fryer and can’t seem to get a hold of geek squad to help me. I won’t waste anymore time trying to get a replacement and I definitely will not be purchasing a warranty from Best Buy ever again.

    I did this purchase cause I have more than one pc, I thought the price was right but one laptop couldn't work at home. And as soon as warranty was over so did my pc's stopped working.

    The non-replace replacement guarantee

    When one buys a "replacement" guarantee one expects to replace the unit if it falls. That is not what Best Buy is selling. Best Buy won't replace the failed appliance. Best Buy will refund the original purchase price. If you want to replace the appliance you must pay the difference between the current price and the original price AND pay again for another "replacement" guarantee. Read the fine print.
