I always buy the geek squad warranty because it's worth to have just in case of emergencies

Just in case insurance should something go wrong in the future

I got the 2-yr. geek squad replacement warranty on my 2-sided scanner because I think it's "easy" to have problems with electronics, and this is peace of mind. Of course, I'd always like the plans to be cheaper!

I usually buy Geek Squad protection pretty much for everything I shop at Best Buy. For some products it works better than for others. You just need to clarify with a Sales Associate what it covers exactly for each particular item
