Never go wrong having an extended warranty and replacement. We never know what can happend but for 2 years I can feel secured best buy has me covered.

I always put a service contract on anything I purchase. I like the extra protection on my items. Its easier to go to Best Buy than going to the factory for help.

I think a $9 2-yr protection for my Oster blender is a good buy. I use my blender a lot, and though I know it's quality material, it's still glass, and anything can happen

My rule of thumb is to ALWAYS get a warranty plan thru bestbuy, if something goes wrong they dont hesitate to fix the problem if not rellace it.
