The plan is good but I think what for 1 year is to much money for paid

I wish that I could have kept my $100 plan but instead they raised everything to $200.

Pretty good so far, I mean I haven't really had to use it but they said I can just bring it back if there are issues.

First when ordering the web page states how long my product will take to arrive to my house, which was over one week shipping time. I would think that a tech savvy firm would be able to write a simple script to activate a product replacement on that date, no it gets activated the day you order the product. May not seem like much, but there is always the reviews of any product that fail right after the warranty expires, This simple issue of starting the replacement program when I received my item could not be resolved through customer service emails, they say geek squad is there own entity. Not the first time I feel "burned" by geek squad so my fault. I had bought a laptop and they activated the antivirus the day I bought the laptop which I would have waited until my current one expired before activating, Maybe they think customers are too stupid to activate on their own. My father bought a laptop and could not create recovery discs. Brought in one day later and they wanted to charge $90 to do it. Give me a break, just bought the darn thing. That experience kept me out of Best Buy for three years. Oh well lessons learned

How do I go about canceling the Geek Squad, I no longer need it.

after waiting in line for over 2 hours they said they couldn't help me

I bought it but didnt need it, so I cant really comment on whether or not the service was good.

I think its always good to get some type of insurance policy on your products if possible.

This was a great place to shop and great service always.

Sometimes protection is almost as expensive as the product

Just Geek squad protection. Never had to use it. Big deal.

They constantly cancel on me everytime I have an appointment

I find that it becomes difficult to know when to and not to get the coverage.

I haven't had to use my protection yet. Maybe if o do then I will write another review

Lots of accidents happen. Now I feel safer with product replacement options.

BB warranty covers more than the manufactures and cheap for the extra time
