Does not cover invalid SKU

It all works fine and well IF the item you are seeking to replace has a valid SKU; however if the SKU or item number has been changed or dropped, you will only get a part refund and NO replacement item. This case has been documented from the Best Buy Store in Summerville SC.

Awful

Waited a month for home service apt that they NO SHOWED/NO CALL. Our status call was a 47 minute hold to have Rep. hang up. Haven’t bought anything from them in 3 years and never will again.

Not good for the product I bought
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just know if you buy a Microsoft product and it becomes defective or breaks, geek squad can't fix it or it will void the mfg warranty and they will not get their money back. So, they could not even replace the controller because there were no more in stock. Geek squad is ok for some products but was no good for my purchase. Basically wasted my money.

Pointless

The manufacturer has warranties that cover what they do too. They want you to buy a 4 year protection plan which 3 of them are covered by the manufacturer at times. Not worth it.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SO I TRIED TO USE MY PS4 CONTROLLER PROTECTION PLAN IN STORE, I WAS TOLD THAT I DIDNT HAVE A PROTECTION PLAN FOR THE CONTROLLER ( EVEN AFTER SHOWING HER THE PROTECTION PLAN ON THE PHONE APP). SHE THEN TOLD ME TO GO BACK TO THE STORE I BROUGHT IT FROM AND SEE IF THE COULD HELP ME. I DIDNT DRIVE 30 MILES TO THE OTHER STORE JUST BOUGHT A NEW 1 WITH NO PROTECTION. IM TRUELY DISAPPOINTED WITH BEST BUY

Protection runs out right when i need to replace

Because i take good care of my products, outside of wear and tear, it feels pointless to ever consider getting the protection for any of my future purchases.

Worthless plan

But that makes it impossible to use this plan. So it's basically worthless. Thus the one star, but this is the only time this has happened. Normally they're wonderful
