Always get the insurance. I have used them a few times and they are great. Things get done right and if it can't get fixed I get a brand new one.

The elite controller is great and its nice knowing that it is protected. The controller seems very durable, but anything can happen. I get insurance on all my pricy tech purchases.

I always get the 2 year product replacement especially with electronics . You can exchange your product for up to 2 years if anything happens to it with no problems doing so at all.
