Last one was broke so luckily warranty replaced with new one. Never buy anything without warranty particularly if kids are using it

We purchased the protection plan for my son's headphones. The metal jack disconnected from the cord. Thankfully we were able to get a replacement pair of our choice. The only thing that was disappointing was having to wait a week and a half for the replacement headphones to arrive. We would have loved to receive it sooner.

You never know what,when or why but you are going to have to use because it going to stop working and then you have to replace it.
