I am always skeptical of purchasing warranties. However, the sales rep indicated that it will cover if the controller breaks in way. Since the controller itself is pricey and having this be the third time buying a new one due to the joystick not working properly after awhile, i gained confidence that the warranty would be useful to me.

I purchased this for an Xbox one headset. It was sons 2nd set so thought I’d purchase in case we had an issue with this set as we did with the previous. I purchase the product replacement on an Xbox one controller and we did end up having to return and it was replaced. So worth it for the price. I highly recommend it!

Geek Squad Warranty Service is just amazing. Its nice to have "peace" of mind knowing that your product is going to last you a long time. I have had nothing but great experiences with the replacement program and I continue to purchase them.

I purchased this for my son's Nintendo Switch. When the sound stopped working the Geek Squad check it out. When it wasn't able to be fixed, the Geek Squad replaced it with a brand new Nintendo Switch. Highly Recommended.

The replacement plan is definitely worth it. I bought the replacement plan for my Nintendo switch controller. The controllers are great but eventually wear and tear takes over. Best Buy replacement plan allowed me to replace my controller without any hassle.

My son is hard on his electronics and the Geek Squad rep. went through the replacement program so I signed up for it. Sure enough, the screen got damaged not even a year later. I took it to the store, the Geek Squad took care of the replacement paperwork and within days, I had a new laptop. The Geek Squad was stellar.

While I have not needed to use these services for the product I just bought, I have had to use the Geek Squad services before. They have always taken care of my needs and I will not have a major purchase without it. Geek Squad protection is one of the main reasons I purchase all of my electronic devices at Best Buy.

It's a great comfort knowing you can use your products and not worry about them because they're covered. Especially when the coverage prices aren't so high that you feel like it would be better to just replace what breaks. Great peaceful mind at a great price.

Exceeded expectations as usual. Fast, easy and profesional service when they provided me with my product replacement. Since the device I was returning (Cozmo) wasn’t working well at all and it wasn’t available anymore, I got store credit which works for me! Thanks!

Highly recommend u buy the insurance. U can return t headset no matter what happened. Puppy chewed one of ours- got a new one. Son chewed on voice piece- got a new one. AND every time u get a new headset u can purchase another insurance plan. We have returned probably 15 headsets over t years. We got our monies worth

So nice not having to worry about the remote getting broke, chewed, etc. Because with 2 year geek squad protection you won't have to worry about anything happening because if anything happens you bring it in and pretty much get a brand new one. Even if you don't have a receipt they can look you up with your Best Buy member ship.

I brought the Xbox controller because the RB button stopped working or if it did work, it was intermittent. Best Buy does not repair controllers and so they gave me a new one as a replacement. Happy with this transaction.

Hopefully the 2nd generation Dualshock 4 controllers will fare better, but my original Dualshock 4 that came with my PS4 ended up having the stuttering issue basically within days after the warranty expired. After contacting Sony, the cost to ship and repair the controller was so close to the price of a brand new controller that I just chalked it up to a loss. With this purchase, if the controller starts having issues, the cost of the Geek Squad replacement plan warranty will more than pay itself off. Hopefully I won't need to utilize it, but then again, that's how insurance works.

Upon your unexpected return of a purchased item that outside a return policy, the geek squad protection extended warranty comes in handy. If they can't fix it then they'll replace the product within 2-5yr protection period. Worth it if your buying a high end product.

I would highly recommend this product to anybody that has a video game controller as children and teens do and hardheaded adults they mash buttons and are very aggressive with the joysticks wearing out the controller this replacement is outstanding
