I've bought these plans for various items. The pamphlets state clearly what it covers. It's all yoi need to know. $9 to cover my ear piece for 2 years..... well worth it.

The replacement plan is the best thing to have in case of accidents.

When you buy an extended warranty for any product it should be stacked on top of the original manufacture warranty. So if you buy a 2 year on top of the manufacture 1 year that would give you 3 years. But no according to Best Buy they override the manufacture warranty which only gives you the consumer a two year warranty. Remember you are paying for a two year extended warranty. So in reality according to Best Buy you’re paying for the manufacture one year which is free and actually one year extended warranty, but you are charged for 2 years. Makes no sense at all. In my opinion I am not nor will I get what I paid for. Such a ripoff. I remember seeing a class action lawsuit against another company for this very same reason. I sure will be on a class action lawsuit when Best Buy is charged with this type of business practice. I have a right mind now to go to Best Buy and get every penny I’ve spent purchasing these so called 2 year extension warranty on all the products I’ve purchased from Best Buy. It’s 100% unfair and unjust! Don’t waste your money on their extended warranty. They say it saves you the hassle of having to deal with the manufacture to just be able to bring the item to the store for exchange. Well at this point I’d rather deal with the manufacture to warranty my items than dealing with Best Buy one month after their two year expires when you paid for 2 that should have been/turned into a 3 year after adding their two year warranty to your purchased item.
