I get protection on everything I buy at Best Buy. Especially on something like a hard-drive it's a no-brainer. Super easy to replace things when they fail... Just take it into the store and they'll take care of you. WAY easier than dealing with manufacturers.

When ever you can afford to buy the extend it warranty is a must trough Best Buy. I have always choose this option the experience is painless when your product stops working. Take it back and choose your new one, no questions ask that simple for a fraction of the price. Crazy not to do it.

I purchased a Plantronics ear piece (and, extended warranty). After a year or so, it developed issues that I could not correct. I returned the ear piece under warranty and, used it's purchase value to purchase a new, higher end ear piece. The entire process was seamless!

Works well for sitting on flat sturdy surfaces. Don’t use on say a downed tree that isn’t level.

Why spend hundreds of dollars on products if you aren’t going to properly protect them? Invest another couple bucks into your investment for an extra peace of mind.

I've had different products go bad that I had the protection on. As long as I'm within the time frame for the plan, I have taken them back and either got a replacement right away or a store credit too get something different.

I highly recommend for smaller items, such as blue tooth ear pieces. They are fragile and break rather easily. The price is well worth it and they replace item.

Geek Squad coverage is so essential to the total cost of ownership of your purchased product. This is a must have, especially if you purchased an expensive product. Expensive products will typically cost more to repair.

I made sure to purchase the protection plan for my Bluetooth headset because I know that I will be using the headset for and extended period of time and will need to make sure that if anything goes wrong I will be able to replace them quickly as possible

I keep buying the protection plan at Best Buy cuz they're very good at backing up what they say about insurance even if they don't have the item they will get you the next best thing equivalent to that no questions asked

Always get the warranty and purchase the biggest available for the item. It will pay for itself.
