This has saved me the cost of replacing my unit many times. It has changed since I first started using them. Now the plan is prorated when you make a claim and a new plan will need to be purchased to protect the replacement.

I’ve loved this device for some time now & anyone that wants to keep their product safe beyond the limited warranty should make sure they get geek squad protection.

I haven't had to use it yet for this tv yet but I have for other items I've bought and they replaced my item.

I buy the replacement plan on almost everything I buy from Best Buy, if anything goes wrong or even if I accidentally break it, they replace it no questions asked.

Don't ever buy a product at best buy without inquiring as to whether this is available for the product purchased. Manufacturers warranties are very difficult and time consuming to pursue.
