    We always buy a protection plan (when offered). Best Buy's protection plan is much better than those offered by Wal-Mart.

    Overall not to happy with this purchase. The basics behind this is if the device can power on then they will work on it but if not then they will offer you an "express replacement" at a preset amount (not ran with current pricing) which in my case was 50 dollars more than the current pricing. In the end it's left to the geek squad's discretion what they do with your device and even though this protection promises a 1 time replacement battery (which is what i wanted) it is not as freely given as advertised,

    Get your items protected! Worst mistake you can make is breaking your phone/tablet and not having it protected.

    You have to get if you buy a laptop. I bought a pretty expensive one and they replaced it free when I dropped and shattered it.

    I had to utilize this when I found my screen cracked upon pulling it out of my bag. It was a painless process with the Geeksquad and I had a replacement in a short time.

    Wish it was longer than one year for the price but definitely something that should be purchased to avoid headaches when accidents happen because they are inevitable.
